Editor’s Note:  One more death recorded in Nassau County due to COVID-19.  We send our condolences to the family.  An update will be provided should further information become available from Nassau County Emergency Management.

Daily Covid-19 Update for Thursday January 14th 2021
FDOH reported 420 new test results and 49 positive cases today (11.7% positivity). Total number of cases is now 6003 (5638 residents)
It is with great sadness and regret that the Nassau County Health Department announces that a new COVID-19 death has been reported. The resident was a 82-year-old male. This brings the total number of Nassau County resident COVID-19 deaths to 72. The Health Department sends our most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones during this difficult time. The Health Department continues to prioritize protecting the health and wellness of the community to ensure these solemn occasions are as rare as possible. Protecting the public’s health, however, is everyone’s responsibility. It is vital that the community continues to be vigilant in following public health recommendations to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 and to protect each other, including those most vulnerable. The FDOH Nassau County Health Department will not release additional details about the individual to respect the family’s privacy during this time of loss.

I am unable to copy the sign-up sheet for the Covid-19 vaccination as I am working from my laptop and do not have a printer. Please advise me further. Thanks.

Where is the table with the details on positivity rate & hospitalizations? It has not been appearing for the last week or so. We certainly miss this level of detail that we had come to expect
