The City Building Department surveyed 200 building permits in February, 12 more than February 2013. The total number of permits issued in 2014 to date is 410, slightly ahead of last year at this time (402) Mechanical permits led the way with 36, followed by electrical (30), general residential permits (28) and roofing /re-roofing permits (28).
