Frank, also known as August, made his public debut before the Fernandina Beach City Commission (FBCC) at the FBCC’s April 6, 2021 Regular Meeting. The 2 year-old mixed breed was returned to the Nassau Humane Society Shelter when his owner , who had adopted him as a puppy, could no longer care for him. His handler reported that Frank gets along well with other dogs, children and adults.
