During evening hours on three separate occasions in June, the former home of Lasserre Motors and Trawick Tile on S. 8th Street suffered damage to a number of large plate glass windows.  According to a Fernandina Beach Police report issued on June 13, “It is believed some type of  blunt object was used since no foreign objects were found inside the building.”

The property was purchased five years by Gum Street Investments, LLC. of which Robert Selton III is a principal.  Mr. and Mrs. Selton reported the incident to the police and indicated the total damage is estimated to be $6,000.  Police were informed by the Seltons that another area business sustained window damage possibly from a BB gun.

There are no known suspects at this time.
