Amelia Island, Fla. (April 2, 2021) The Plantation Artists’ Guild and Gallery (PAGG) opens its doors to 2020 – A Look Back, a community photo project, April 9-11 from 11AM-5PM. One hundred photos selected from hundreds submitted will be on display to the public. There is no charge for admission. The gallery is located 94 Amelia Village Circle, Shops At Omni on the First Coast Highway, Amelia Island.

The photos on display were taken by community members and visitors to Amelia Island and Nassau County during the year 2020. After the close of the opening exhibit the Judges Favorites will remain on display at the gallery, April 12-30. A magazine has been produced featuring the photos submitted and will be available for sale. Proceeds from magazine sales will benefit Arts Alive Nassau, a non-profit providing arts programming for the children of Nassau County.

The exhibit will then move to the two new Marriott properties, The Courtyard and Springhill Suites at the corner of Fletcher and Atlantic Avenues. Marriott invites the community to tour the two new hotels prior to its official opening early to mid-May and see the 2020 – A Look Back community photography project.

During the year the exhibition will travel throughout the community. Story and Song Bookstore and Bistro will offer the exhibit the month of June. During the month of October the exhibit will be on display at the Council On Aging. A photo walk in the Historic District is being planned in partnership with Main Street – Fernandina Beach.
