This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! It’s time to celebrate Florida Arbor Day 2020!!!

If you’re available THIS Friday, January 17, 2020, at 9:30, PLEASE celebrate Florida Arbor Day with us at MLK PARK on the corner of Fir Street and South 12th Street. We’ll read a proclamation, go over a few important tips on tree planting, and then we’ll make it happen! We’re planning to install several shade trees, landscape trees, and palms as a natural barrier where white posts currently exist. If you’d like to bring a shovel and physically plant a smaller tree, there should be PLENTY of opportunities! I hope to see you there!

If it doesn’t work out this time, we’ll be planting MORE TREES this winter, AND we’ll do something for NATIONAL Arbor Day on the last Friday of April. Volunteers are always welcome, so please let me know if you’re on board now or later!
