Julie Taylor recipient of 2019 “Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser” award.

Barnabas Center extends its congratulations to local resident Julia “JuJu” Taylor, for her recognition as the “2019 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser” awarded by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) at a recent luncheon event, with over 680 guests in attendance to celebrate local philanthropists.

Barnabas nominated Julia for her accomplishments during her tenure as Barnabas Board Chair and Chair of the Barnabas Campaign for Sustainability endowment fund and for her many efforts to raise critical funds in the area. As a volunteer fundraiser, philanthropist, volunteer, advocate, leader, wife, mother and grandmother, Julia gratefully accepted the award.

Barnabas also congratulates Delores Barr Weaver for receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and Baptist Health for receiving the Outstanding Corporation Award. Other award winners include Sound Connection Music Therapy; Bozard Ford; Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation; Diane David; The Wild Things, Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens Young Professionals Group; Jim and Joan Van Vleck and Bold City Florida Chapter of the Links, Inc.
