The Fernandina Beach Police Department has arrested an individual for the night time burglary of Atlantic Seafood, located at 10 Ash Street. The burglary occurred on February 17th and the forced entry was made by prying boards from the structure and destroying interior drywall. Eric Todd, a local resident, confessed to the felony crime, admitting to stealing $100.00 cash and two cases of beer.
Todd was also charged with felony vandalism after confessing to the damage at 8 Flags Antique Market, located at 602 Centre Street. Todd used a red brick to smash the glass pane of the front door, causing more than $1000.00 in damage.
Great work by the FB Police Department in such a quick arrest.
