The Code Enforcement Board of the City of Fernandina Beach cited the previous owner of Taylor Rental for numerous code violations. Since that time, the property has been sold. Prior to the building being used as a rental company, the building was home to Woodward Motor Company, a Chevrolet car dealership. As of 2:15 p.m., the South 8th Street frontage still stands. After being the Woodward Motor Company the property was sold to Marshall Rowland and became Rowland Chevrolet. It later became the rental company.
