Beginning October 16, the Fernandina Observer will post answers (unedited) to four questions presented to candidates who have qualified to fill the seat on the city commission currently held by Commissioner Arlene Filkoff. Those candidates are David B. Austin, Andrew Curtin, Johnny Miller, and Lynn Williams.
We wish to provide our readers with an opportunity to get to know each candidate. The Fernandina Observer does not endorse candidates, nor do we provide space for political advertising.
On Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. a candidate forum sponsored by the Fernandina Observer will be held in the City Commission Chamber at the corner of S. 2nd and Ash Streets. The forum can be seen on Comcast channel 264, or at your convenience via live streaming from the city website www.fbfl.us
