Could not have been more Proud of my Neighbors and Our City, What a wonderful turn out for the Woman Solidarity March for Womans Rights and Human Rights, expecting a 1,000 ‘nd Marchers, we got close to 2,500. During the March, all along the March trail, I did not hear any disparaging comments, only folks who could not March for one reason or another, Cheering us on. My hero of the Day was a Young Woman in a Wheelchair, that Participated in our March. We were all having a hard time keeping up with her. Ms. You are Awesome.!! The only sad part was the lack of Political Participation, From the City, County, or State. This was not about “Wedge Issues” in the Political Discourse of the Day. But about Womans Rights and Human Rights for all our Citizens. Perhaps I just didn’t see any, and they were involved. Fernandina Beach, I’m Proud of You.
