The Amelia Island Book Festival buzzed with almost 100 authors selling books and swapping stories at the Atlantic Recreation Center Saturday.  The tent waited outside for the Garden Party Luncheon with author Debbie Macomber and workshops with other authors were also taking place. Wonderful weather helped make another successful event for the many volunteers and attendees this year again.

Editor’s Note:  Hats off to the many volunteers and contributors who support the Amelia Island Book Festival.  The “Authors in Schools” program is an important part of this festival.  Many of the visiting authors visit Nassau County Schools, encourage the love of reading, and inspire potential writers.
