Eight Flags 2Community leaders, supporters, and business owners gathered at Egan’s Creek Park to break ground on a historic redevelopment of the park.
With fundraising efforts reaching 85% of their goal, the 8 Flags Playscapes team was ready and excited to break ground. The new Egan’s Creek park will be a multi-recreational space that will offer the following: an all accessible kayak launch, fishing dock and pavilion, quarter mile fitness path with exercise stations, bird watching platform, restrooms, community pavilion, new parking area, multi-purpose field, and future play elements. There is truly something for everyone at the new Egans Creek Park!

Eight Flags8 Flags Playscapes recognizes the local businesses who have or who will help in the construction phase of the new park. The final plans released in early January 2016 name all of those involved in the project {see attached}.

Kudos to all the folks involved with this project. It will be a wonderful addition to the recreational amenities of the City – especially the kayak launch.
