Editor’s Note: We thank Richard Burroughs and Nancy Bartmess for this photograph taken yesterday morning as the VB 10,000 Heavy-Life device left the Port of Fernandina. According to Wikipedia, the device is a “twin-gantry catamaran consisting of two truss space frames atop two barges.” It is on its way to the waters of Sea Island, Georgia to disassemble the Golden Ray which capsized in September of 2019.
