JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – This advisory is to inform community leaders and interested parties about upcoming scheduled lane closures, traffic shifts and other construction activity on State Road 200/A1A. The Florida Department of Transportation has permitted multiple lane closures as part of the State Road 200/A1A improvement projects. Below are several lane closures planned for October 30 through November 6, weather permitting. Certain activities may require unexpected lane closures for the safety of both drivers and construction workers.
Notable
FDOT crews are preparing to implement the new Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at the intersection of State Road 200 and I-95 in the coming weeks. Daytime lane closures
Ramp Closures:
These are alternating closures with only one ramp closed at a time.
- The southbound I-95 off ramp to eastbound State Road 200 is expected to be closed Saturday, October 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will be detoured onto westbound State Road 200 to turn around at the median west of Semper Fi Drive.
- The eastbound State Road 200 on ramp to northbound I-95 is expected to be closed Saturday, October 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will be detoured east to turn around at Still Quarters Road.
State Road 200:
• The westbound right lane of State Road 200 from Peeples Road to Meadowfield Bluffs Road is expected to be closed Saturday, October 31 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Nighttime lane closures Interstate 95: None at this time.
State Road 200:
- The eastbound right or left lane of State Road 200 from Harper Chapel Road to Still Quarters Road is expected to be closed Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. This is an alternating closure with only one lane closed at a time.
- The intersection of State Road 200 and Flora Parke Boulevard is expected to be closed Sunday, November 1 from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The westbound left lane of State Road 200 from Chester Road to Peeples Road is expected to be closed Sunday, November 1 from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The intersection of State Road 200 and Arrigo Boulevard is expected to be closed Monday, November 2 and Tuesday, October 3 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The westbound left lane of State Road 200 from Chester Road to Peeples Road is expected to be closed Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The intersection of State Road 200 and Mt. Zion Loop is expected to be closed Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
