Shrimp Fest 2022 kicks off with an awesome parade!

May 2, 2022

If you weren’t one of the hundreds who lined the parade route in Fernandina Beach, you were probably in the parade itself!  The 2022 Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Fest kicked off Thursday evening with a parade that many said was the best ever.  Below are some photos courtesy of Sabrina Robertson of The County Insider.  To see many more photos highlighting parade participants, floats and parade watchers, visit http://www.thecountyinsider.com

Outstanding in so many ways! We will attend this hometown event for many years to come. This was a uplifting, unifying experience for all.

This parade with all the groups that participate and the spectators that line the streets to cheer them on are what helps make Fernandina Beach the special place it is. Kudos to the Parade Committee for all their work to make it happen.
