As a result of a hearing held on Friday, July 23, 2021, Circuit Court Judge Steven M. Fahlgren ordered Nassau Terminals, LLC and Christopher Ragucci, its CEO, to produce documents requested by Fernandina Beach resident  “Chip” Ross pursuant to the Florida Public Records Act within 48 hours.

Nassau Terminals and Ragucci have failed to comply. On Tuesday, July 27, 2021 Ross filed a Motion in Circuit Court to hold Nassau Terminals in civil contempt.

Mid-day on Wednesday July 28, 2021 Judge Fahlgren issued an Order directing Nassau Terminals and Ragucci to appear in person before him to determine whether that failure “justifies the imposition of sanctions for indirect criminal contempt” and/or civil contempt as alleged by Ross.

The Order notes that punishment may include fine or incarceration.

The Contempt Hearing is scheduled for Monday August 2, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Historic Court House on Centre Street.

We now have a Port Authority (and it’s “Contractor/Manager”) in open revolt against any kind of accountability. Clean house, before we have massive trouble.
