Front Porch Beads to host “Arts & Crafts Pop-Up Sale” – Sunday, April 18

Front Porch Beads will host a one-day, pop-up arts and crafts sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 18 on the porch at 1773 School St., in Amelia Park. More than a dozen artists and crafters will show their wares, piece made with their own creative hands. Shoppers can browse jewelry, art, photography, ceramics, handbags, stained glass, soap, wreaths, yarn, notecards, ornaments and more. Some of those participating will be familiar to Fernandina Beach area art aficionados. The varied line-up includes:

 

    • Front Porch Beads 5-strand necklaces, lariats, stackable bracelets, sea-glass necklaces, multi-layer wire bracelets and the ever-popular mask-keepers. They will also be selling donated reclaimed jewelry of all kinds.
    • Fired Up Fernandina ceramic art by award-winning local artist Lis Krawiecki.
    • Beach Girl Yarns by Cee will demonstrate how yarn is made on a traveling spinning wheel.
    • Wabi Creations colorful fabric and cork handbags and cell phone holders by Susan Ziel.
    • Metalmorphosis brightly painted garden flowers and sea creatures made of recycled aluminum cans by Yvonne Harrel.
    • The Roving Felter unique felted figures by Cathy Mcelhannon.
    • Florals, Inc. wreaths for every occasion by Kathy.
    • Island Digital Art by Logan Pierson.
    • Notecards by Lucy Bryan.
    • Splendor In The Glass stained glass by Susan DeWolf.
    • Light Vision Photo Cards by Alwynne Lamp.
    • Ann Handley Soaps in the shape of starfish, turtles and other sea creatures.
    • Jim Widerman Art and Photography. All proceeds from the sale of Front Porch Beads jewelry is donated to local charities.

Masks are required and the number of shoppers on the porch will be carefully controlled to allow for social distancing.
