Hundreds of friends, family, classmates and teammates showed their love and support for the family of Collin Helms in a caravan drive-by yesterday in Fernandina Beach. The procession was led by the Fernandina Fire and Police Departments. Collin was involved in a tragic accident on March 26. He passed away, at home with his family, on May 29.

Many of the cars in the parade displayed posters of Collin, #21 who pitched and played third base for FBHS’s Pirates baseball team. Collin’s parents, Joey and Sabrina Helms and his brother Liam watch as cars pass by leaving flowers, cards and condolences. They thank everyone and are proud that Collin was such an amazing son, brother, friend, boyfriend and teammate.

Many of Collin’s teammates on the FBHS baseball team wore their jerseys to pay respect.

No words! This poster says it all!
