February 2021 Youth of the Month

Roberts Center Youth of the Month is Taylor Wells.

Roberts:

Taylor Wells

Taylor is an 8-year-old second grader at Southside Elementary School. Taylor considers herself an artist and loves the art programs at the Club. In addition to artistic pursuits, she enjoys gymnastics, reading books by R.L Stine, and the color pink. Her favorite subject in school is music and she loves to sing warm-up songs while doing sign language in class. And while Taylor loves basketball, she admits that Tom Brady is her favorite athlete. The staff at the Roberts Learning & Achievement Center wanted to highlight Taylor because she is charismatic, listens attentively, and follows all of the Club rules all the time. Her participation and creativity make her a joy to have in our programs.

Miller Center Youth of the Month is Alyssa Neal.

Miller:
Alyssa Neal

Alyssa is 11 and attends Fernandina Beach Middle School in the 6th grade. She has one younger brother and loves playing soccer and hanging with friends at Miller Freedom Center. She loves math and also playing in the game room at the Club. Every day Alyssa exhibits the behavior and conduct of our exemplary members. She attends consistently and is always eager to help staff or her fellow members. Our staff appreciate Alyssa’s values, intellect, and personality which all make her an ideal Club member.
