Editor’s Note: Kathie and her family spent a beautiful afternoon on a rented Pontoon boat enjoying the Amelia River and all of her springtime views. They love the easy feeling of the island and contentment of sitting on the beach. And of course, nothing attracts your family like Fernandina Beaches.
The Kirts moved to Amelia Island in September from the Western North Carolina Mountains. For a number of years they have visited lifelong friends on the island and naturally fell in love with the island and lifestyle. Since moving, the Kirts family has welcomed visitors to their new island. Kathie looks forward to many photo ops on land and shore. We thank Kathie for her contribution to the Fernandina Observer.
