DeSantis’ motto seems to be, “Live free and die.”

Ben Franklin, Ben.

I was looking up the well known quote from Franklin and found that quote this is attributed to Jefferson. No matter, it seems Franklin, Jefferson, and their fellow patriots all had the same idea.

But don’t you see, there is a ‘statewide policy,’ you just don’t like it. We are moving to the island for just this type of policy. Don’t mess it up now.

There is a statewide policy, you just don’t like it. We are building on the island because of this point of view; it is why people are flocking to the state. Frankly, I like the odds for survival and happiness. Cheers.

Once again, a mask does not prevent you from getting a virus. Unless you believe the media. Also, there is a difference in deaths from covid and with covid, which no one seems to mention. It’s a virus. One that probably everyone will get. Yet the media has conditioned everyone to panic. Does anyone else, besides me, think that the reason our tourist industry is failing is because of the states that have everyone locked down? If you aren’t allowed to travel, you aren’t going anywhere. And if your business is impacted by closures, you and/or your employees, can’t afford to travel. The economy will not recover under more restrictions.

The sun, the moon, the stars, the truth – are all eventually revealed. One of the effects of the pLandemic is a wealth transfer. Some suggest the banker community will come down to the Keys (and everywhere else) and swoop up properties at fire sale prices. And when it comes to the usefulness of masks, etc. – people need to consider if what they are being told is “sponsored science.”

Demand destruction is something different than promotionals can readily influence. Sad, but true. Most folks – especially those with comorbities are staying inside. That is a control we still have available. The tourist industry is important, but in this environment, it’s a good example of the effects of a locality putting all it’s eggs in one basket.

Democrats, Mr.Farmer and your contributor are worse for our state than any issues related to COVID-19. Ms.Thamm searches for lame left wing swill to drop on us from time to time so she can get her “activist” urges satisfied.

And your “claim to useful activity” in our local community?

Not sure why an article of this type with its sensational headline is making it onto the pages of the FO.

DeSantis has handled the Covid situation better than any of the other 49 Governors. He has done an amazing job balancing the economic and health factors. Those Florida Dems who demand further restrictions and lockdowns can certainly move to a Blue state where they will force said Dems into a locked basement….enjoy the misery.
