Right-wing funded anti-protocol protests and a dangerously self-absorbed President who encourages large-group gatherings for his own ego stimulation now give the green light to self-centered citizens to feel “rebellious” by ignoring common sense measures that help stem this deadly virus. People in denial or who just don’t care ruin it for the rest of us.

Stand up for our island’s residents. You know people are not responding to requests to save the lives of others, so you need to step up and make them mandatory. A decision that is unpopular with some might lose you votes, but living with the death toll due to your unwillingness to act might be harder.

What a joke.. Another attempt by the elite to keep us proles in our place. Remember when this nonsense started, it was to ‘flatten the curve’ so that hospitals had time to equip and staff up. It was NOT about preventing the virus, or even the spread of it, but like sheep we’ve fallen for their nonsense.. They said masks were not needed and might be more harmful than good, now they are requested – how soon until they are mandatory? And what about ‘social distancing’ and limits on crowd size? I’ve seen NO evidence that says 6 feet is right, 10 people is too many.. These are all theater for show, much like the security theater at the airport. All this for a virus with a 0.6% mortality rate, basically on par with seasonal flu.

This should not be a political issue, but since it has been raised (“Right-wing funded anti-protocol protests”), what about left-wing funded anti-police protesters and rioters? I’m sick of virtue signaling Karens dictating my life.
