The Sunshine State is maintaining its status as having the lowest average of daily coronavirus cases per capita in the United States — a feat achieved without intrusive mandates.

But you are okay with FL still having the highest number of average daily COVID deaths (105) as of October 31 and third in total deaths (59,670) after California (which now has an average of 22 deaths daily) and Texas. Want to guess why? Maybe it has something to do with refusal to use common sense mitigation methods such as vaccinations, masks and social distancing.

Give me mandates or give me death. I’ll take mandates any day.

Do you not hear yourself? FL (with minimal mandates) has less deaths than CA (with maximum mandates), as you noted.

CAN YOU READ! Over the past week CA had 22 deaths per day compared to 102 in FL. The overwhelming majority of CA deaths came prior to the availability of a vaccine and any mandates. For a state with twice the population of FL, they are now experiencing 1/5 of the daily COVID deaths. Mitigation methods MAKE A DIFFERENCE whether you want to believe it or not.

Joesph, I appreciate healthy discussion and debate as much as anyone. Clearly, you have taken at least a cursory look into the statistics. However, if you cannot be respectful in your discussion it is not worth it to me to continue.

Mr. Loouk, please read your first initial response to the information you did not read the first time. Is “Do you not hear yourself?” any more respective than my response? If you had not ignored the information the first time, I never would have asked the question. I agree. Not worth continuing.

Perhaps folks are just staying home. The safe thing to do. Wonder what the average daily average per school age population are – because most can’t stay home?
