While I realize this is mainly news that applies to Fernandina, but since there are reports of closed roads, I’d like to take a few moments to inquire as to why the 6-lane concrete section of A-1-A closed from the Wildlight entry way until the asphalt begins just before the Yulee area. The highway seems to be complete with striping and reflectors, but still the left hand lanes are closed in both directions. Can anyone explain why this section of highway is closed?
