May 3, 2022Please join the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, May 4th, at 10:00 a.m. for our annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service. The service will honor all those heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives to serve the citizens of Nassau County. In addition to paying respect to all those who gave their lives, our service will recognize two of our agency’s most recent losses. Deputy Joshua Moyers who lost his life in the line of duty last year. Moyers was shot and killed while on a traffic stop south of Callahan. Deputy Jack Gwynes also sadly lost his life last year from complications due to Covid-19 while working as bailiff in the courthouse. If you can’t make it we will also be LIVE streaming the event on Nassau County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.
