The contractor finished the final punch list items and a Certificate of Occupancy has finally been issued for Station 71 located at 96262 Chester Rd., Yulee, on the corner of Chester Rd. and Heron Isles Parkway. Crews began operating out of the station on Saturday, June 5th. The station will have a battalion chief on duty for each shift. It also has one tanker and one rescue unit.
The official the Ribbon Cutting has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 22nd at 4pm.
