Man jailed on multiple charges, including threats against black police officers

News4Jax reported yesterday that a 33 year-old local man — Richard Lee Guinn — is

being detained in the Nassau County Jail on a $110,000 bond.

Law enforcement was called to a house on Schubert Road in the Nassauville area on a report of a man possibly violating an injunction imposed in 2013.  Guinn was found and taken into custody without incident at a relative’s house.

Deputies also learned that Guinn had sent a series of “concerning” emails, some of which made threats to “security bases” and local and regional police officers.  In one email Guinn wrote, “I’d pay 100 billion for the deaths of every black police officer.”

Guinn has been charged with

  • Aggravated stalking
  • Corruption by threat
  • Threat against public officials
  • Written threat to kill
  • Aggravated stalking
  • Violating an injunction

Guinn has an extensive criminal record in Nassau County.
