Nassau County Emergency Management is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Eta. Though this storm will not directly impact Nassau County, indirect impacts will include minor to moderate coastal flooding due to storm surge, as well as high tides and significant wind gusts.
Due to this expected effect, authorities will be monitoring the beach on Sunday, with the possibility of closing beach driving. It is anticipated that beach driving may be restricted from Monday until the effects subside.
