It’s not too late to vote early

More than 900 Nassau County registered voters took advantage of the first three days of Early Voting to cast their ballots for candidates in the 2018 Primary Election.  Included in the primary balloting are choices for Nassau County Commission, Nassau County School Board, and Ocean Highway and Port Authority.

As of this morning (August 20, 2018), slightly more than 7 percent of registered voters have already cast their ballots.  Voting numbers reported by the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections are reflected below:

Ballots cast by mail: 3,705

Early Voting:  925

Early voting continues through Saturday, August 25, 2018 at four locations.  Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 28, 2018.  For more information, see previous article or visit the Supervisor of Elections website.
