One number really sticks out and it is the number of deaths. That number is 1.

I would like to say how unfair it is that the fireworks permits have been pulled from the 2 large private hotel resorts there in your town. We come each year and spend a fortune to stay there and walk out of our hotel rooms to see a 4th of July fireworks show. We also spend 4 hours to get there and a lot of money in the town as well. It’s worth it to be at a nice resort and not have to get in our cars and fight traffic, be in large crowds, or spend hours fighting to get there or get home. So now I understand you can still get in your car and drive with huge crowds to Jacksonville and spread Covid 19 to see fireworks? But you will not let PRIVATE properties and paying citizens at a hotel resort see them right there without having to leave or draw large crowds? This is very unfair to the families coming there already anyway who have spent a lot of money and to your local businesses as well. And for guests to have to find out about this only a few days beforehand is even worse.
