Florida Dept of Health July 1 – Nassau County daily Cornavirus cases increase by 14

Nassau County Emergency Management: 

As of 11:00 AM, July 1, 2020, FDOH Nassau has 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

1. 24 year old male, unknown contact with a confirmed case, no travel-related exposure
2. 53 year old female, known contact with a confirmed case, no travel-related exposure
3. 71 year old male, known contact with a confirmed case, no travel-related exposure
4. 27 year old female, known contact with a confirmed case, no travel related exposure
5. 72 year old female, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure
6. 49 year old female, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure
7. 22 year old male, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure
8. 45 year old male, no known contact with a confirmed case, no travel-related exposure
9. 49 year old male, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure
10. 71 year old male, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure
11. 31 year old female, known contact with a confirmed case, no travel-related exposure
12. 40 year old male, known contact with a confirmed case, no travel-related exposure
13. 23 year old female, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure
14. 44 year old female, unknown contact with a confirmed case, unknown travel-related exposure

The Health Department is conducting case investigation and contact tracing on these cases. The individuals will remain in isolation until released by public health. The total case count to date is 196 for Nassau County (188 residents, 8 non-FL residents).

As of this date, 90 residents have been released from isolation.

90 cases of  Cornavirus in Zip-Code 32034. On June 30, there were 79 Coronavirus cases in Zip-Code 32034. It appears that 11 of the 14 cases today are in 32034.

This is really scary how these numbers multiply each day.

Can the city please make it mandatory to wear facemasks as soon as you leave the house. It doesn’t matter what political affiliation you have. The virus doesn’t care. And we should fight for our future and not what you belief in.
