Nassau County Emergency Management:

Nassau EM It is with great sadness that we announce a CoViD-19-related death today. The patient was an 81-year-old female. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and loved ones.

Protecting the public’s health is everyone’s responsibility.
It is important to take measures to stop spreading disease-causing pathogens. Stay home if you are sick or if you are contagious, even if you feel well.

Every time you touch something you pick up bacteria and viruses. Wash your hands with soap and water frequently! And clean surfaces you touch often, like light switches and door knobs.

Stay distanced from people you do not live with. They might give you something that could make you sick, or you might give them a virus you don’t even know you have, and they might not survive it.
