Florida Department of Health September 23 – One additional death in Nassau County

Nassau County Emergency Management:

DOH-Nassau epidemiologists are investigating 17 new cases today.
We are saddened to announce another resident’s death related to CoViD-19 today. The resident was an 80-year-old male. This brings the total number of pandemic-related deaths among Nassau residents to 41. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones in their time of grief.

We are still experiencing high numbers for our popultation count and our deaths are now 41 & climbing every day . . . why did the County Commission lift the mask mandate? It just doesn’t make sense, especially when you consider the average age in Nassau County.
