Florida Department of Health Updates New COVID-19 Cases, Announces Seventy-Seven Deaths Related to COVID-19

~427,698 positive cases in Florida residents and 5,049 positive cases in non-Florida residents~

Test results for more than 88,800 individuals were reported to DOH as of midnight, on Sunday, July 26. Today, as reported at 11 a.m., there are:

  • 8,892 new positive COVID-19 cases (8,854 Florida residents and 38 non-Florida residents)
  • 77 Florida resident deaths related to COVID-19

On July 26, 11.39 percent of new cases** tested positive.

There are a total of 432,747 Florida cases*** with 5,931 deaths related to COVID-19.

Since July 26, the death of seventy-seven Florida residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have been reported in Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Dade, Duval, Escambia, Gilchrist, Hendry, Hillsborough, Jackson, Lake, Lee, Leon, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Sumter and Volusia counties.
