Florida Department of Health COVID-19 Weekly Situation Report – Week ending January 13, 2022

Florida Department of Health
January 14, 2022

Editor’s Note:  Don’t be fooled!  There is a lot of COVID in our county that is not being reported.  Get vaccinated,  mask up, maintain social distancing,  and avoid large crowds.

The surge is here. I know more people who have gotten sick with Covid now than in all of the rest of the pandemic. Transmission rates are very high, and although most cases are less severe than in the past, the high contagion rate means more people are being hospitalized and dying. Focusing on treatment rather than prevention is outrageous, immoral, and criminal. Please get vaccinated, mask up, and practice social distancing. It’s the patriotic thing to do.

Focusing on a one size fits all and ignoring the real benefits of safe and effective therapeutics is pure evil. That our health agencies ignored the findings of doctors who actually treated patients with IVM and/or HcQ along with other supplements from as early as March/April 2020 and achieved very positive outcomes is pure evil. Look at covid19-dr-zelenkos-statement-to-u-s-senate-committee-homeland-securit, Dr. George Fareed, Dr. Jean-Jacques Rajter, Dr. David Chesler (who started treating patients in 7 nursing homes in Virginia in April 2020 with IVM). See the open letter Dr. Fareed sent to Fauci. Your toxic, baseless, and inflammatory comments are tiresome. Take some time to read what I suggest and come back with a reason why these doctors letters were ignored by Fauci, and why it is that people like you demonized doctors like these before vaccines were even available. Both IVM and HcQ have extraordinarily robust safety profiles proven over decades of use. The vaccines, not so much. Vaccines do not prevent anyone from getting or transmitting the virus – I know too many people who have had 3 jabs and still got it. Nothing is 100%, not the vaxs, not IVM, not HcQ, but denying people the use of any is what is pure evil.

I trust the CDC. I trust our local health officials, and I trust the WHO. Credentialed, qualified, officially competent. Sorry Barnes.

Did you bother to look up and read the information I suggested? If not, take the time to do so, and then tell me why those so called trusted agencies – who don’t actually treat patients (Fauci has not seen a patient since 1968) – never responded to those doctors that do treat patients. Just for quick reference, Dr. Zelenko treated over 3000 patients with covid starting in March, 2020 – that is 2020, not 2021, well before vaccines were available – with a protocol that included HcQ among other supplements, in NYC, and did not lose a singe patient – not even elderly patients with co-morbidity’s. Remember, that was the time when bodies were piling up in NYC because those trusted health agencies you mentioned were advising that there was no treatment, to send patients home until they turned blue, then come back and we will put you on a ventilator. Dr. Fareed and his partner treated over 7000 patients who had covid, did not lose a single patient who was treated early, and only lost a couple who were elderly with co-morbidity’s and were treated late. Dr. Chesler treated patients in 7, that’s seven, nursing homes using Ivermectin starting in March/April 2020 – again, 2020 -and achieved remarkable outcomes among an elderly and likely frail community. Every one of these doctors, and many others, wrote to those trusted agencies reporting their results, and not one of those agencies you trust responded. Why not? Historically, doctors have been encouraged to do what these doctors did – look for treatments using re-purposed FDA approved drugs that may be effective against a novel condition. Both IVM and HcQ have proven anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties with exceptional safety profiles proven over decades of use. You can not make that claim about remdesivir, the vaccines or the new pills being pushed by Merck and Pfizer. The one claim you can make is that the vax’s, remdesivir, and the new pills are far more expensive, and profitable for big pharma.

Barnes. I do other things than researching your subjective opinions and the basis of your “facts”. That’s why we have credentials and experts that decide factual and statistical nuances and the value of competing ideas. I rely on credentialed conclusions all the time – like competency and certification of pilots, surgeons, teachers – and in this case medical professionals responsible for dealing with public health.

I follow situations in other states where we have family. Other states provide more data every week. For example Massachusetts provides number of breakthrough cases, total percentage of breakthrough cases of those vaccinated (less than 2%), total number hospitalized, number of new hospitalizations, number in ICU, number of deaths, etc. Does FL not track these numbers for the public?

A few weeks ago I mentioned this could spell the end of the pandemic. In NY the numbers are nosing over and declining. Even here in FL the data this past week shows a decline in positivity and a marked slowing of cases. Two weeks ago the cases increased by 100,000. This past week it was a third of that at 34,000. The decline should become more apparent in the next two weeks. By the end of March it should pretty much be over.

That is, if the powers that be who look to profit from it will let it die. I hope you are right, however.
