Florida Department of Health

August 28, 2020

Nassau County Emergency Management:

DOH-Nassau epidemiologists are investigating an additional 52 positive cases today.  We are saddened to announce that two additional Nassau residents have passed away from CoViD-19-related complications. The patients were an 83-year-old male and an 84-year-old male. This brings the total number of Nassau County resident COVID-19 deaths to 18.

We extend our deepest sympathies to their families and loved ones during their time of mourning. While NCEM and FDOH-Nassau continue to prioritize the protection of public health and wellness of our community, please realize that protecting public health is everyone’s responsibility.  It is vital that the community continues to follow recommendations in the current Public Health Advisory to prevent the further spread of the Novel SARS-CoV-2 virus and to protect each other.

Residents and non-residents are listed in this breakdown.

Only facilities that have reported COVID-19 cases are listed. Here’s the link to the entire report that is really interesting. http://ww11.doh.state.fl.us/comm/_partners/covid19_report_archive/ltcf_latest.pdf

That is only the latest version of the report. If you would like to see past reports, delete the link text starting from the right to the first slash (/) and a directory of all reports will come up. If you’d like to see all sorts of other interesting reports, here’s a link to lots of other state reports. https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/
