Editor’s Note: Nassau County Emergency Management responded to a question posed by the Fernandina Observer regarding the small number of tests conducted recently.    Nassau County Emergency Management said outdoor collection sites were closed temporarily due to storm passing through our area, but indoor operations were not impacted. There are “specimen collection kits – although limited in number, there is no shortage.”  Coronavirus daily cases in Zip-Code 32034 increased by 3 to a total of 510.

The five cases include non-residents and residents.
