Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County’s mission is to provide a safe place for the youth of our community to grow academically, engage with positive role models, and develop into confident leaders. While our physical Clubs must remain closed at this time, we are working to ensure that our members have what they need to achieve success at home.

Recognizing the immediate community need for children to have well-balanced and nutritious meals, beginning Monday, April 6, we will provide an evening grab-and-go meal that can be picked up at the Miller Freedom Center on Old Nassauville Road between 4-6 p.m. every Monday through Friday while our Clubs remain closed. This program is open to Boys & Girls Clubs member families in Nassau County, but meals will only be provided to children, and each child must be present to collect a meal.

While we can’t be open to our members right now, we are providing a virtual Club experience on our website. We are offering links and fun activities for our members to join in and keep up with their friends and favorite staff members. Our virtual programming combines a mix of educational and physical activities as well as live videos featuring our staff. Members of our two Clubs are also eligible to receive a Chromebook on loan to take home to participate in these virtual learning opportunities.
