Thanks for a Successful Food Drive

First Presbyterian Church of Fernandina Beach (FPC) extends sincerest appreciation to the generous shoppers at Publix Super Market on Oct. 13, who donated $710 and 1,070 lbs. of groceries to the Barnabas Center Nutrition Services programs during our volunteer-led food drive.

We extend a huge thank-you to Craig Fitzpatrick, manager of the Publix Super Market store on Amelia Island, who permitted a collection site at each entrance, which substantially increased the donations this year.  FPC volunteers at the food drive are truly grateful to Casey Hemphill, Nicola Barnack, and other Barnabas staff for their outstanding support and assistance.

The success of the food drive is another example of the caring attitudes and generosity of our community—residents and organizations coming together to help our neighbors in need.  Bravo and thank you!
