Starting Point Open House: Jan. 13

Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare will host an interactive open house Friday, Jan. 13, 4-6 p.m., at its new office at 1541 S. 14th St. All community members are welcome and encouraged to join. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

The interactive open house will give Nassau County community members a chance to tour the new office space, tour the mobile behavioral health clinic, learn more about the extensive mental health and substance use programming the organization provides, and join an Advisory Committee to help shape how behavioral health services and policies are implemented.

“We hope all of our community members will join in on this special day,” said Laureen Pagel, Chief Executive Officer at Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare. This new office location is a product of a federal grant awarded to our organization that will establish the first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Nassau County.”

Such clinics provide in-person and family-centered integrated services. Over the next four years, the nonprofit plans to expand its mobile crisis unit to all ages, provide financial assistance options for members of the community to reduce barriers to care, and establish a positive recovery community in Northeast Florida.
