Heritage Tree Trolley Tours

Join your friends and neighbors in supporting the Amelia Tree Conservancy’s heritage tree trolley tour. ATC is offering two narrated trolley tours of designated heritage trees in the downtown area.

During this tour you can relax and learn about some of our most treasured trees making up the maritime forest canopy of Amelia Island and how they help to preserve the island.

Experience first-hand the impact these magnificent trees have on our community while being entertained by their unique stories.

Tours are at 11 a.m. and 1p.m. Saturday April 15. Tickets are $50 per person (recommending age 12 and up). There is free parking at the starting location of the School Board field across from the Central Park tennis courts at 1201 Atlantic Ave.

To buy tickets go to ameliatreeconservancy.org. And hurry — seating is limited!

Participating in the Tree Trolley Tour is fun and informative. Moreover, by taking part on the tour, you are contributing to the non profit group, Amelia Tree Conservancy which strives to preserve and conserve our beautiful trees. It’s a win win!

For those with the means, this is a worthy cause and a fun tour. I wonder if anyone has thought of having a raffle or lottery to allow people without that much discretionary income to do the tour, as well.
