The Bartram Garden Club will be celebrating Florida Arbor Day at 11 a.m. on Jan. 19, 2024, by donating and planting a weeping yaupon holly tree at the west entrance of Fort Clinch State Park, 2601 Atlantic Ave., Fernandina Beach.
The public is invited to join this memorable event where the Club will also be giving away 100 potted live oak tree seedlings, commemorating Florida’s Arbor Day 2024 and the 100-year anniversary of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC). Every garden club in Florida will be planting/dedicating a tree at the same time on Arbor Day.
The Bartram Garden Club meets from September through May, usually on the second Thursday of the month, at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach. For more information, visit https://bartramgardenclub.org/
