Please welcome City Engineer Charles George on his first day of work. Charles comes from Savannah, Georgia, but he has lived in Yulee for four years. His background is in structural engineering with a focus on coastal communities. We asked him a few questions in an effort to get to know him better.
Question: How do you take your coffee?
Answer: He doesn’t drink coffee! Sweet tea is his drink of choice.
Q: Morning person or night owl?
A: Night owl.
Q: What was your first job?
A: Fry cook at Burger King when he was 16 years old.
Q: What’s your perfect Saturday?
A: Sleep late, watch football (Georgia Tech is his team).
Q: Any kids or pets?
A: Three children, one blue macaw parrot, two dogs, and three cats!
