The City of Fernandina Beach would like to remind candidates and their supporters of a few items when erecting political signs:

– Do not place campaign signs or advertisements on any public street, sidewalk, right-of-way, or other public property. Signs in violation will be removed and disposed of. Signs may be placed on private property with the property owner’s permission;

-Signs must be fifteen feet apart. Only four signs are allowed per parcel (except in residentially zoned areas) with a maximum height of five feet. Maximum sign area determined by zoning;

– Signs must be removed within two weeks after the election.
