Pauline Testagrose

Fernandina Beach City Manager Dale Martin has announced the selection of Pauline Testagrose as the next city Comptroller.  This selection follows a nationwide search for a successor to current Comptroller Patti Clifford, who will retire at the end of the year.

Testagrose is leaving a position as Accounting Manager in Financial Reporting at Broward County where she has lived for the last 27 years.  Prior to Broward County, she worked at the City of Sunrise for 13 years in various positions in Finance.  She holds a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and is a licensed CPA.

She told the Fernandina Observer, “I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career (and life) in Fernandina Beach!”

Testagrose will report to her new position on July 31.  She will work alongside Patti Clifford for the remainder of the year to ensure a smooth transition in handling the city’s finances.

Congratulations Pauline and I know Patti is glad to see she will have a reasonable amount of time for the transition before her retirement. The clean audits over the last several years should make that transition a bit easier, although the complicated operations of the City make FB a bit more complex than most comparable cities our size.
Best wishes.
