City Golf Course users take note:
The City will be replacing a stormwater culvert on Bill Melton Road between First Avenue and the Fernandina Beach Golf Club beginning Monday, July 22. The closure will begin at 8:00 AM on Monday and extend through Thursday, July 25, at 5:00 PM at the latest. The road will be closed to all through traffic.
The road is closed to ALL TRAFFIC. Period. You can get to 1st Ave and Dunewood Pl. from Fletcher as well as the one house west of 1st Ave. To get to the golf course or Phoenix Walk condos you will have to come in from the Parkway on Via del Ray.
