New Business & Building Report: February 2018

The Fernandina Observer welcomes the following businesses newly licensed or relicensed to operate in the city of Fernandina Beach last month:

 

 

During February 2018, the city surveyed 346 permits, an increase of 78 from February 2017. This brought the city $231,044 in fees. Permits were issued for 14 new buildings. Mechanical (62), Roofing/re-roofing (56), and Electrical (45) accounted for the highest number of permits by category.

Building activity is up for 2018 (713) over the number of permits issued for the first two months of 2017 (566).
