New business and building report: January 2018

The Fernandina Observer welcomes the following businesses newly licensed to operate in the city of Fernandina Beach last month:

During January 2018, the city surveyed 366 permits, an increase of 68 from January 2017. This brought the city $221,582 in fees. Permits were issued for 9 new buildings. Roofing/re-roofing (76), Mechanical (65) and Electrical (55) accounted for the highest number of permits by category.
