While some might say that the real dog of the month is the County’s Covid registration system, the Nassau Humane Society and the Fernandina Beach City Commission (FBCC) say otherwise.

Featured this month this month was Fozzie, a 2 year-old mixed breed male, who patiently sat through the County covid presentation at the January 5, 2021 FBCC meeting.  His handler advised that he is working on his social skills in dealing with other dogs.

For more information on animals available for fostering or adoption, visit the Nassau Humane Society’s website https://nassauhumane.org — or just drop by to visit at 641 Airport Road. The shelter is open afternoons daily except Mondays and closed on major holidays.
